Melbourne, March 4 – With that scintillating win last Saturday by exciting Stratum filly Crystal Lily still firmly in the minds of yearling buyers at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale this week, the progeny of her sire met with strong demand.
Burnewang North enjoyed a super result when their filly by Stratum from Group Two winner Coupe (pictured) made $200,000 to the bid of McDonald Racing.
Other good sales for Stratum included a colt from Benita that made $115,000 for Manx Park when bought by George Moore Bloodstock and a filly from Prayer Time that made the same figure for Willows Thoroughbred Farm when knocked down to D Adams.
