Promising Winner for Sebring

 In 2015

Sebring has a wealth of talented gallopers stepping out at present and three year-old gelding More to Gain will also be winning his share of races judging by this facile four and a quarter length win at Gosford on Thursday.

Trained by Amanda Turner and Mauro Poletti, More to Gain was placed at his first two runs back from a spell on soft ground, but relished firmer footing and a step up to 1600 metres to break his maiden against older horses with a dominant display.

A modest $36,000 Inglis Classic Summer Book purchase from the Widden Stud draft for renowned judge Paul Willetts, More to Gain made a fine impression when re-offered at the NZB Ready to Run Sale where he made $280,000 for Mana Park when snapped up by Mauro Poletti.

More to Gain has a pedigree that suggests longer events will also be well within his scope.

A half-brother to stakes-winner Veuvelicious, More to Gain was bred by Widden Stud in partnership and is the second winner for Debutante (GB), a half-sister to three European stakes-winners that were all successful at 2000 to 2400 metres.
