Sebring Maiden Winner Impresses

 In 2014

Sebring has started the new season the same way he finished the last with a flurry of smart winners headed by Group I winner Dissident and Group II winner Bring Me the Maid, his latest to salute coming at Wyong on Sunday.

Prepared by Bjorn Baker, Lucky Bubbles improved on his debut fifth at Gosford earlier in the month to dash right away and win the 1200 metre maiden by four and a quarter lengths.

A $90,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the Three Bridges Thoroughbreds draft, Lucky Bubbles was bred by Gilgai Farm and is the first foal of stakes-placed Bubble Below, a half-sister by Hussonet (USA) to stakes-winner Lunaspur and three-quarter sister-in-blood to Group II winner Colorado Claire.

Bubble Below was bought by Victorian based Musk Creek Farm at the 2013 Inglis Broodmare Sale and she is in foal to Stratum.

Sebring has had a flying start to the new season and after the first month is running sixth on the Australian General Sires List be earnings.

He is booked out at Widden Stud this spring at a fee of $60,500.
